What is CBG and its benefits?

As we know the hemp plant has many components in the cannabis plant. CBG stands for cannabigerol, and it is one of the hundreds found in the plant. CBG is not psychoactive which means it will not get you high. It is found in low doses as well as found in small quantities in the cannabis plant. CBG is extracted from the young plant instead of the fully developed plant due to the young plants having a higher amount of CBG in them. It is the most commonly known cannabinoid which occurs naturally in plants. CBG is the pure cannabinoid, the original, and without it, TCH or CBD would not exist. CBG is the initial formation in the raw form and is then converted into CBD and THC. CBG is where all cannabinoids start.

CBG has benefits for our ECS, which stands for the endocannabinoid system. CBG has been found to have similar benefits to CBD and THC. It has been found that CBG can help with focus by helping to reduce stress. When you are less stressed the more you can focus and pay attention to what you are doing. You can focus on the task at hand for whatever it is you may be working on; it gives your brain the clarity it needs. It takes away the mental fog.  A healthy appetite is something all of us need. For people that have problems gaining weight or suffer from anorexia. CBG may help them overcome that disorder due to it increasing one’s appetite. When we get sick there is always inflammation which is healthy for the body to fight off an infection. If you have an injury, you will have inflammation that will help that injury heal. CBG can fight against diseases that involve inflammation which is a therapeutic benefit. If you have aches and pains, it can also help as a muscle relaxant. CBG can be used to fight against cancer by inhibiting the growth of cancer cells. It can also improve the blood flow to your eyes and release any pressure you may have which can cause glaucoma. This allows your eyes to get the nutrition they need. In a study that was done with CBG, people said it helped them with their pain, depression, insomnia, and anxiety as well.

CBG products are expensive, but it does have potential benefits. When they extract CBG from the plant, they have to extract it from thousands of plants to get what they need to make products. The amount a plant produces is very low. This is why CBG is so expensive. CBG does have similarities to CBD, but it is easier for them to produce CBD than CBG. You can buy CBG in oils, topicals, capsules, and edibles.
