Marijuana has been around for many years and there are many benefits from it. People use it for many different things such as spiritual beliefs, for health reasons, and just to get high. It comes in many different forms such as flower, disposable vapes, disposable carts, edibles, and tinctures. There is a difference between medical and street marijuana.
Medical marijuana has been legalized in several states but you can only have a certain amount when you purchase it. It has been proven to help with a variety of health conditions such as pain and inflammation, cancer, anxiety, insomnia, glaucoma, PTSD, nausea, seizures, and more. It is regulated and can be more expensive because of the taxes you pay for it. Not all states are the same when it comes to getting a medical marijuana card. There are requirements that you must meet in order to get a card so you can get dispensary grade marijuana. For one to obtain a medical card, they have to consult with their physician to see if they qualify for it. The price can be expensive but there are some states that provide help with that through grants for low income patients.
Street marijuana is illegal and sold by dealers. This will get you probation, jail or prison time depending on how much you have, what you have, etc. With street marijuana most likely it has been grown outdoors and is full of pesticides. Most people use it just to get high while others use it to help them with health conditions such as pain, seizures, nausea, cancer, AIDS/HIV, anorexia, etc. Getting street marijuana you take a chance of facing the police but it could also be full of pesticides, heavy metals, and anything else someone uses to grow it. It does not have the medical side of it done to it as for processing it.
They both, all in all affect the body in the same way. One way is legal, and the other way isn’t. However, there are stores where you can buy products that have no more than 0.3% THC that will help you with the same health conditions. You do have a choice as to what you want to try and how you want to get it. Do your research on anything you try and make sure it is right for you.
